Prairie Creek Golf Course is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Dewitt, Michigan.
The course first opened for play in 1977.
The course has bent grass greens, well-manicured fairways, rolling hills, wooded areas, ponds, and streams. Water hazards come into play on eight holes. The fairways are hilly and tree lined. The greens are well bunkered and undulating.
The Blue, White and Red tees, measure 6,384, 6,028 and 5,084 yards respectively.

Decided to stop in a play this Family owned course ($26) being 45 minutes from my house on this overcast day. This is well seasoned and established, rolling, tree lined, mostly straight forward layout with some narrow (#6-#8) fairways to keep you from getting too relaxed. Average soft sized greens that held but yet putted smooth (8-9) having very few surprises to them. Not many sand traps on this layout (green side or fairway) but all were well groomed and played very fair. New score cards show hole layout (less trouble distances) and adjusted yardages to the fairway 100 - 200 markers. Blues are 3,080 / 3,281 with Whites 2,922 / 3,081 and Reds 2,429 / 2,570 playing to a typical Par 36 / 36 with no GAM marker information. Only drawback is the LONG drive to #13 & #14 that would be very unfriendly to the people that like to walk, but the Front 9 would be easy. Shot 40/40 w/35putts from the Blues (6,361yds) and had a very enjoyable round (2.5hrs) on this local owned course located 5 minutes from Hwy 127.
